Dan TurchinGlobal companies have spent over $25 billion on enterprise applications to improve employee productivity. However, employees spend increasing amounts of time away from their desks, and the benefits derived from these investments are lost. This phenomenon of mobile employees and desk-bound tools causes a "problem resolution" gap. In service management contexts, this gap causes missed service expectations, poor response times, endless backlogs, expense "leaks," and dissatisfied customers. Since IT applications are growing and becoming increasingly complex, this gap is widening and its impact on business performance is increasing.

Aeroprise, a BMC MarketZone partner, eliminates the "problem resolution gap" that exists between deskbound applications and mobile employees by enabling IT service management staff to extend their desktop application and customize it to their mobile devices according to their own individual needs and role in the organization. When your employees are mobile and your applications are not, Aeroprise offers a a real solution to unwiring service management and using your applications where real work gets done -- in the field.

Good questions, vague answers

Posted by Stephen at 2007-03-05 10:35
The host posed excellent questions that my management has asked me about wireless. The answers given by the guest were very vague and nothing that would give me anything to bring back and get a project going. Please get your guests to stick to the point and answer questions with relevance and tell them to skip the marketing hype. This was a waste of time and frustrating because I still don't see a good reason to use wireless with Remedy.
