Mark Stabler, corporate strategist for BMC Software, talks about the
biggest and most important single event in 2006 for BMC customers: BMC
UserWorld 2006 in San Francisco. With over 200 break-out sessions
available during the regular session, the conference is set to begin on
August 28, 2006, with two days of pre-conference tutorials, including
ITIL Foundation Certification and a Fast Start for ITIL Implementation.
There are various courses available on the CMDB (configuration
management database) and best practices, as well regulatory compliance.
Industry analysts and luminaries will be there to speak on multiple

Bio
Mark Stabler helps develop and drive BMC Software's Business Service Management (BSM) and corporate strategy. Bringing a unique global perspective, he was instrumental in the design and messaging of Business Service Management and is considered one of the "founding fathers" of BMC Software's Routes to Value™. Formerly the head of sales and business development at IT Masters, he led the company's acquisition by BMC Software in 2003. Stabler has an impressive 25-year IT industry track record with specific focus on Enterprise Management solutions. He spent several years at Computer Associates, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, following the acquisition of Legent Corporation in 1995. He spearheaded several of CA's business units including research and development, marketing, channels, and strategic alliances.
Mark is a special advisor to the Board of the National and International Center for Missing and Exploited Children and also sits on the board of Parents for Megan's Law.
