Bio

Ynema Mangum is the former executive producer for TalkBMC, the BMC Software community portal which hosts blogs and podcast conversations on topics such as business service management, ITIL, regulatory compliance and IT controls, IT process improvement, and infrastructure and asset optimization. Formerly, she worked in R&D at BMC as a senior product manager.

Ynema is an experienced social media professional who played a key role in integrating Web 2.0 technologies and content into traditional marketing and product channels at BMC. But, she's even more ecstatic that she gets to wear flip flops every day to her office in Austin. She enjoys taking risks in her personal life -- snowboarding, skiing, SCUBA diving or wakeboarding when the season is right. She is certified in ITIL best practices.
