Bio

Ariel Kirson is a member of the CTO Office of BMC Software and as such contributes to the company’s strategic and technological direction. Over the last few years he has been involved in BMC’s initiatives in the Identity Management space; most recently he has focused on secure development practices, addressing security-related questions from customers and supporting Common Criteria (NIAP) certification projects.

Ariel joined BMC Software in 2001, and has served in various business-development and marketing positions. Prior to joining BMC Software, Ariel worked for ten years as a software engineer and customer support manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and East Asian Studies and is fascinated by East Asian culture and traditional Japanese history.
