Updating OPML in Aggregators

Posted by Cote' at 2006-06-02 02:57
What I'd like to see are aggregators start to update OPML feeds the same way they update RSS feeds. For example, I'd like to take the talk.bmc.com OPML feed, give it to FeedLounge, and have FeedLounge continuly poll the OPML file and update my tag or folder. This way, as new talk.bmc.com blogs come, or old ones go, my feeds will be updated.

On another note, you guys should look into using Planet Planet (or Planet Roller) to aggregate all the feeds into one. It also makes for a nice quick and easy to skim page.

Updates rock

That auto-update for OPML would be awesome. Maybe Dave Winer will farm that feature out to someone, heh. I was already in awe that the RSS feed automatically changed the name of my blog -- I love the beauty of simple subscriptions.
