Redirect the output from dir and snip out the file datestamp from that?

Could you use the dir command to create a variable for each PDF file that would contain the current time/date stamp? I'm looking at the parameters available for dir and there seems to be some potential here.

Hi
I have one bin file of some 130kB and i want to make the size of the file as 150kB. Can anyone suggest any DOS command for this?
