PDF out of wiki

Sounds great - how are people selecting which articles to turn into an ebook? I'm on a project that will do wikislicing out of Wikipedia for the One Laptop Per Child project. See http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Projects/Wikislice for details. We're writing use cases now and want to get input from teachers who want to create curriculum from Wikipedia pages. We'd love your help if that's the kind of project that interests you.

I love to hear of more and more wiki examples for end-user documentation, I'll definitely add yours to my growing list!

We happen to eat our own dogfood ... see:

http://mediawiki.renderx.com/index.php/DiType_User_Guide

Authored in Docbook with changes back and forth allowed by only our internal staff. Anyone is free to dynamically publish our live documentation on our software.

We will likely open up some existing documentation Wikis this and other products at first to super users to augment/enhance our documentation ... then maybe even more generally.

contact me anytime at RenderX (kevin@renderx.com). We are working with several companies now interested in extracting Wiki content for dynamic publishing of educational content.
