Yep: Big mistake. Texstar also wrote in to set me straight.

Uses apt toolsets (and apt is the packaging tool ariginall from Debian that has been ported to work over RPM as well) but runs over the top of an RPM data-base.

Humm. I wonder if "Alien" will bring .debs over to RPM in PCLinuxOS... Fine. Another project. Just what I needed...
