Re-doing the X30 bootloader

Posted by Steve Carl at 2007-01-17 01:18
The X30 was a dual boot system, with WinXP on the other side. XP has been broken for the better part of a year, but I decided to fix it by re-installing. That of course whacked the GRUB bit in the MBR of course. As Mint 2.1 just came out, I then upgraded, putting GRUB back in the MBR. Now the X30 dual boots Mint 2.1 and XP. GRUB still not in partition 1 of course, but working.
