I agree 100% - the Ubuntu graphical installer as shipped in Edgy Eft and therefore present in Linux Mint is a poor effort. And it has a major, show-stopping bug that was only introduced into the very last release candidate of Edgy and was still there in the final version. Coming on the heels of their buggy long-term Dapper Drake release, this raises serious questions about Ubuntu's approach to quality control.

Is this the bug that when booting up edgy 64, causes the screen to produce vertical 1/2 inch lines and hangs until you turn off the system and reboot? since the screen ismthere and i am unBLE TO READ CODE I CAN'T SUBMIT ONE.
