BSM

How is BMC going to compete with HP, MS and now even Apple with off the shelf enterprise software and remedy, project management software? I think the industry knows you are stuck on mainframes. The world has changed in the past 10 years.

Mainframe focus

It's hard to respond to a question when the premise of the question itself is incorrect. BMC clearly started as a mainframe software company, and continues to have a healthy and growing mainframe software business. However we broke out mainframe and non-mainframe financials over a year ago, and any reasonable interpretation of that public data would clearly show that BMC now makes twice as much of its revenue from non-mainframe software as it does mainframe software. So, to say BMC is simply a mainframe software company is not true. Now, what was your question again?
